A huge thank you to all of you who participated in the second part of the InterNations Survey Series: Striving for Global Excellence! We were very pleased with the overall turnout of the second part of our survey!
We would like to take the opportunity to briefly inform our InterNations members of our preliminary findings. We asked members to point out what kind of information in particular they would find useful in simplifying their stay abroad as well as easing the transition to a new country and culture.
Our InterNations members gave us a lot of feedback on the sorts of topics they would like to see covered in this section, such as visa regulations, residence permits, healthcare and working and living conditions, which we have happily taken note of.
A considerable share of survey participants also expressed a strong interest in an expat job market with vacancies around the world looking for an international job profile and global company ratings. Interest in an expat housing market has also been articulated, as it will simplify the search in finding a decent flat or house in your new city. We can assure you that this is now definitely an item on our agenda and will be addressed promptly! At the moment, we are working on a couple of other features that you have told us you would like to see on InterNations, such as our online Expat Magazine and our Expat Country Guides.
Last but certainly not least, congratulations to a brand new HP Mini Netbook are in order for João Laranjeiro from Coimbra, Portugal who is currently living in Sao Paulo, Brazil!
Make sure to participate in the third part of the InterNations Survey Series coming online soon and get the chance to win other fabulous prizes!
