It was an exciting start into the new year for our team here in Munich: 2011 already brought us five new team members at the InterNations office, and we would like to take this opportunity to welcome them and introduce them to the InterNations community.
Sabrina and Valentina have joined the ranks of our permanent staff in their respective functions as Manager International Relations and Online Editor. Sabrina’s role at InterNations is within the Ambassadors and Events team, where she is already working on a busy schedule to support our growing local communities in 2011. The Editorial Office is delighted to have won Valentina, who will play an important role in the development of the long-awaited content section on the InterNations website. Soon we hope to provide our members with a wealth of useful information regarding expat life in various countries across the globe, so watch this space!
Every year, InterNations also welcomes a number of interns to the team. For the next few months, we will have the support of Marie, Rafaela and Georgi, who are gathering work experience in Online Marketing, Advertising and Sales and whose help is much appreciated by the rest of the team. At the same time, we are all very sad to say good-bye to Svetlana, who is leaving us today to continue her studies after a 5-month internship in the Online Marketing team. On a happier note, Kathrin, a previous intern in our Members Relations team, will become a fully-fledged member of staff in February!
As is fitting for an organisation providing services to global minds in over 160 countries worldwide, our team in Munich is not only growing in numbers but also in “internationality”: our new colleagues come not only from Austria and Germany, but also from Bulgaria, France, and the United States. Thus they are able to bring their own expat experience to the job!
