As we already hinted at in a previous blog post, our IT and web design guys have been busy working on our Access Page as well as the Guided Tour of the InterNations Community. The two areas are the public “face” of InterNations, which, for instance, an expat might have a look at when a friend invites them to join their network or when they follow a link on an expatriate blog to InterNations; as such, these pages were overdue for a proper “facelift”.
The Guided Tour in particular will help expats interested in InterNations to get a better impression of what the site is all about, from our strong local focus over the function of an InterNations Ambassador to the regular events we’re offering, and its sleek new look fits our community to a t. So, if you are a prospective member who would like to know more about the InterNations Community or a newly joined expat who wants to have an easy overview of our site, just explore the link above.

I have been in Internations for a little while now and have grown to appreciate the site and its features. I was hoping to speak to someone about the platform / technology used as I am considering developing a community in a different segment.
Kind regards
Robert

Hi Robert,
As the blog moderator and maintainer I can only tell you that our blog uses WordPress as a CMS and the software is hosted on our own server. However, since I’m guessing that you are actually interested in our website, it’s probably better to send your enquiry to info[at]internations[dot]org. Thanks!
