During the past six weeks, two new colleagues joined our ranks here at the InterNations HQ in Munich.
Jörg Hering started as Head of Corporate Business Development in late July. With his extensive background in human resources, marketing & sales, and free-lance consulting, especially in the field of information technology, Jörg is going to explore the promising potential of business-to-business partnerships for InterNations. In his leisure time, as a native of the beautiful Rhineland, he considers it his “patriotic” duty to support the football club of 1.FC Köln — much to the delight and relief of others at the office. Apparently, the local pride in the success streak of FC Bayern Munich can be quite annoying for all non-Bavarian footie fans…
While Jörg is now our senior team member, we have found a new junior too! Julia Kühn, from the idyllic town of Murnau near the Alps, will spend the next three months as an intern at InterNations. As part of her bachelor’s degree at the Ingolstadt School of Management, she is going to support us with several projects in community management and business development. With her academic year abroad still ahead of her, our international network will hopefully help her make her dreams of studying in Asia come true. Unlike Jörg, Julia likes spending her time off on the dancefloor rather than at the stadium, practicing new moves for traditional ballroom, jazz dance, and classical ballet.
