InterNations Philadelphia Lunch
The last InterNations Philadelphia event of the year was a great success and a nice way to end 2008 for the newly started Philly community. For the first time, more people followed Ambassador Christina Castelino‘s invitation than had originally signed up for the event — so many indeed that they had to switch restaurants because the first one could not accommodate them.
The flexible Philly InterNations crowd had a fun-filled meal at La Scala, which graciously accommodated the guests from Germany, the Netherlands, China, Finland and India. Over the delicious Italian food, the conversation about plans for the upcoming holidays and ideas for the next IN events was flowing free, and lunch ended a couple of hours later (!) with promises to meet up soon in the new year. (Erika Ottela was their resident photographer to whom we owe the lovely snapshots posted below.)
