The Madrid Community keeps surpassing itself: 210 guests or more turned up for the Halloween Party hosted by InterNations Ambassador Catharina Boemke at the Midnight Rose, the glamorous lounge bar of the Me Design Hotel in Madrid. No matter whether they dared to don a scary or silly fancy dress costume or simply showed up in smart casual style, all were welcomed with a free Calabeza cocktail and then jumped into the fray of exuberant party-goers. Vikings, spider-women, the undead with blood-streaked faces as well as relaxed businesspeople rocked the bar together till the early morning, long after midnight, the “witching hour”, had already passed.
