Unfortunately, the drastic change in the weather in early October forced quite a few members of the InterNations Amsterdam Community to stay at home in the safety of their warm living-rooms; however, it is all the more commendable that a sizeable number of guests made it to their latest Get-Together nevertheless.

Ambassador Roxana Popistasu welcomed expats from Germany, Romania, Belgium, France, Turkey, New Zealand, Italy, Egypt, Hungary, Pakistan, the UK, Slovakia, Switzerland, the US and several more countries at their customary venue, the Canvas op de 7e; the diverse crowd and the spirited discussions almost made her forget to take pictures as she was so absorbed by the conversations. A sure sign that everybody else must have hugely enjoyed the evening as well – there’s now demand for meeting more often than just once a month, and they’d like to plan some smaller fun activity for a weekend, too!
