InterNations Bangkok ‘Oktoberfest’

The famous Wies’n (i.e. the original Bavarian Oktoberfest in Munich) ended over a week ago, but the InterNations Bangkok Ambassadors Akiko Kagaya and Carlos Amoruso simply decided to have their own ‘Oktoberfest’ in Thailand on the evening of October 9. Instead of a beer tent, the chic Gazebo rooftop bar served as a venue; a welcome daiquiri and complimentary fingerfood, Thai-style and tapas, replaced the beer with sausages and pretzels. Unfortunately, none of the guests was daring enough to don a Bavarian costume as fancy-dress, as Akiko and Carlos had jokingly suggested; however, the fun factor was definitely the same.
