Strasbourg is another InterNations Community where, only a little while ago, a particularly committed member stepped forward to fulfill the role of an Ambassador and host events in this quintessentially European city. It also seems quite fitting that the venue which the newly appointed Troy Davis chose for the first Get-Together on October 2nd was located in the Jardin de l’Orangerie, Strasbourg’s most beautiful park and directly opposite the Council of Europe. Unfortunately, the weather did no longer permit a meeting on the terrace with its lovely view of the lake, but it couldn’t dampen anyone’s good spirits! They had excellent and very diverse discussions. And eventually, some people stayed on two hours after the formal end.
