Saying farewell to the sunny summer months was also the motto of the most recent event hosted by Madrid Ambassador Catharina Boemke. With a ‚Fin de Verano‘ party in one of the city’s cutting-edge clubs, she seems to have met her members‘ expectations perfectly: Over 130 guests – many newcomers to our network among them – turned up to connect, interact and, above all, have fun. The cocktails special offered by the Fortuny staff, with two caipirinhas or mojitos, might have contributed a little to breaking the ice, but the carefree mood of that night then did the rest. Not even the football match with Real Madrid, which was broadcast in the venue, could distract them any longer – getting to know new people face-to-face proved far more interesting than sports on a screen.
