Bowling in Bochum
After the members of the InterNations Community in the Ruhr Area had such fun at their board games night earlier this month, Ambassador Constanze Hahn decided to follow up on this success with an invitation to a German ‚Kegelbahn‘ (i.e. bowling alley) on September 23. At the Summa Cum Laude sports bar, near the campus of Bochum University, the expats and locals first practised a bit of bowling on the track before they decided on a more competitive approach.
In the battle of teams ‚Inter‘ vs. ‚Nations‘, the ‚Inter‘ camp triumphed. Instead of insisting on a rematch, everyone then played individually before the alley closed – and all moved to the restaurant upstairs, where they played chess until they were thrown out at closing time, around midnight…
