An ApÃ©ritif in the Shadow of Milanâ€™s Duomo

Our Milan Ambassador Pasquale Monteleone received a truly international selection of guests at the most recent event in town: Participants from Canada, Italy, Sweden, China, Brazil, Spain, Austria, USA, Mexico, Germany, Colombia, India, France, Canada, Russia, Ireland, and Argentina were all eager to have a drink at the avantgarde-style Hotel Straf, whose unconventional modern design provided an interesting counterpoint to the splendour of the famous cathedral nearby.

The Get-Together on the evening of August 28 represented a great opportunity for those InterNations members who were already well-acquainted with each other to exchange stories and anecdotes from their summer holidays; while quite a few new faces joined the crowd and managed to get in touch with their fellow expats and online friends in â€˜real lifeâ€™ for the first time. Both groups of people, however, certainly found this meeting equally entertaining!
