Munich Wies’n Warm-Up Party

With Munich’s world-famous Oktoberfest already looming on the horizon (it starts on September 20 this year), local InterNations Ambassador Patrick Brennan thought it was high time for a little after-work warm up party in preparation for the “Wies’n”, as the Bavarians affectionately call the world’s biggest fun fair. No matter whether they were from the Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, France or Guatemala, from Indonesia, Italy, Iran, Malaysia, South Korea, Togo, the US or indeed from Germany itself — far over 100 expats and locals found this prospect most attractive and dropped in at the beautiful beergarden of the Park Café on August 27.

Quite a few of them actually followed Patrick’s suggestion to appear in some traditional garb and had donned a Dirndl or a Lederhos’n. On the photos below, you might even spot some of our team members with the appropriate dress code (as well as InterNations Baby No. 1)…!

(Thanks to photographer Hagen von Deylen and to our founder Malte Zeeck for the many beautiful pictures!)
